At Pegram Physiotherapy we acknowledge that each individual is different, which is why recovery time and management approach may differ. We treat and rehabilitate a wide range of neuro-musculo-skeletal conditions and injuries, as well as cardio-respiratory rehabilitation. We offer the following services:
Sport Injury & Rehabilitation
Assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of sport related injuries affecting all joints, muscles and ligaments. Rehabilitation is also aimed at injury prevention.
Neuro-musculo-skeletal Conditions
Assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of a variety of conditions affecting the integrated systems. Conditions may include headaches, back and neck related conditions and pain, peripheral joint and soft tissue related injury, strain and pain.
Pre- and Post-operative Rehabilitation
Treatment that facilitates recovery and return to activities of daily living, including work and sport related activities.
Cardio-respiratory Conditions
Assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of a variety of cardio-respiratory conditions, including pneumonia, bronchitis, COPD and asthma.
Covid-19 and Long-Covid Rehabilitation
Assessment and treatment of Covid-19 and related conditions, including respiratory symptoms, fatigue, weakness, associated peripheral neuropathies and residual musculo-skeletal symptoms.
Payment
Medical aid Rates:
Medical aid tariffs are charged and claims will be submitted directly to the medical aid scheme. Please note that benefits may differ between medical aid plans. Estimated consultation fees:
Initial consultation: R 700.00 – R 850.00
Follow-up R 600.00 – R 800.00
Chest physio: R 500.00 – R 600.00
Conditions
In the case that you may not have specific physiotherapy benefits, your day-to-day savings should/may cover your treatment, subject to your medical aid scheme confirmation. In the event of the medical aid not covering the costs of treatment, the client will be liable to settle the account.
